Pat Cummins: "Unbelievable feeling! A few of us hadn’t had the chance to lift this trophy before, so it’s extra special. The series lived up to all the hype, and I’m immensely proud of how we executed our plans. We focused on being proactive, and it paid off.

We weren’t at our best in Perth, but the way we bounced back and played together was fantastic. This is such a special group of players, and I feel privileged to be part of it. Having three debutants step in and contribute at crucial moments was brilliant—they’ve shown their class.

Personally, I’m pleased with my performance. Coming into this series fresh really helped. These are the kinds of series you dream about and prepare for—the big ones where the stakes are high. Beating a side like India requires stepping up in key moments, and our team did exactly that. It’s definitely one of my favorite Test series ever.

A huge thanks to Rohit, Jasprit, and the fans for making this series unforgettable. Every venue was electric, and the atmosphere at the MCG and here in Sydney was absolutely incredible. Seeing the crowds turn out in pink for such an amazing cause was a perfect way to kick off the year. This series is a testament to why Test cricket is so special and why we love playing it."

Jasprit Bumrah | Player of the Series: "It’s a bit frustrating, but sometimes you just have to listen to your body it’s not something you can fight. Missing out on what might have been the spiciest wicket of the series is disappointing. I felt some discomfort during my second spell in the first innings, so we had to adjust.

The focus in our discussions was on belief. The other bowlers stepped up brilliantly in the first innings, taking on the extra responsibility with one bowler down. This morning, the message was the same—believe in ourselves, show character, and fight till the end. Test cricket is like that: full of ifs and buts, hard-fought moments, and learning curves. We stayed in the game today, proving that we weren’t outplayed—it’s just how the format tests you.

Adaptability is key in Test cricket—creating pressure, absorbing it, and playing according to the situation. These lessons will serve us well moving forward. Our youngsters have gained invaluable experience through this series, and I’m confident they’ll grow stronger from it. While they’re understandably disappointed, the talent and potential in this group are undeniable.

It’s been a fantastic series. Congratulations to Australia—they played exceptional cricket and truly deserved the win."

Scott Boland, Player of the Match: "It’s been an incredible couple of months, and the past few weeks have been particularly special. I’ve worked hard to get my body in top shape—countless hours in the gym. Securing a 3-1 series win against India, something that hasn’t happened in quite some time, feels amazing. I’m always happy to contribute and play whenever I can."
Travis Head: "It’s always nice to contribute, but I try not to focus too much on the results. With two fantastic teams out there, I just wanted to make an impact. Stuck to my usual approach, felt in good rhythm, and knew that building a partnership with Usman would put us in a strong position. Credit to them—last series here, they played outstanding cricket, and even in Perth, they had us on the backfoot. These five Tests have been intense, and I’m sure those who played all five are eager for a break.

The media attention has been immense, and I think quite a few people were relieved Bumrah didn’t bowl today—he’s a phenomenal player and had an incredible series. Nitish, too, was outstanding, showing his class. They’ve got a roster of exceptional players, but we raised our game and delivered. Honestly, I’m exhausted! I have no idea how I’ll spend the next 10 days, but I’ll recover and get ready for Sri Lanka."

Beau Webster: "What a game! Couldn’t have asked for a better one. The crowd and atmosphere were incredible. I was tracking the runs closely and felt confident throughout the chase. When it came down to needing four, I decided to go for it—either it worked, or I’d leave it to Head. These past weeks with the team have been amazing. Getting a chance in the final game was a surprise, but it was fantastic. The crowd support has been phenomenal all series, and the backing from home has been incredible. It’s been a whirlwind few days, so a big thank you to everyone."
